Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse environment. Duties
- Load and unload goods using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of items
- Manage materials handling, including sorting, stacking, and organising stock within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements
- Perform basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support with construction-related tasks as required, utilising relevant experience or knowledge
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and work areas to prevent accidents or hazards
- Assist with general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse clean and organised
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with forklift operation is essential; valid certification is preferred
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software is advantageous
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Proven ability to load and unload goods accurately and swiftly

Pay: £12.21-£19.16 per hour
