We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped to meet service demands.
- Support kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
- Serve food and beverages to customers, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell specials effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory management.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
- Line working along with setting up store for the day after training
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of kitchen operations, but not essential
- Experience in food preparation and serving, with knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance customer experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Pay will be National Minimum Wage
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour

- Are you willing to lone work, ie opening store at 4pm and setting up store while serving customers and getting ready for the day
- Hours of work, store is open from 4pm to 11pm
Ideally we require night time work between 7-closing
