Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Montessori principles, child development, and a commitment to creating engaging and enriching learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement Montessori-based activities that promote holistic development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a prepared environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and independent learning.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records to support individual learning journeys.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing support and guidance to enhance children’s development.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a cohesive Montessori education that meets the needs of all children.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance Montessori practice and early years education.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Experience working in a Montessori setting or with Montessori methods is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to children’s individual needs.
- A genuine passion for fostering children’s learning and development through the Montessori approach.
