We’re a people-first business run by genuinely friendly humans — not corporate robots. No fake smiles, no cutthroat competition — just a tight-knit crew that loves great service, good food, and making guests feel like family.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the pass during service, ensuring smooth communication and food quality. In the absence of senior chefs, take full responsibility for kitchen operations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior chefs and commis chefs, ensuring a productive, positive work environment.
- Prepare high-quality, consistent dishes while maintaining strict portion control and minimising waste.
- Assist with menu planning, dish development, recipe costing, and managing stock levels.
- Maintain meticulous cleanliness, hygiene standards (HACCP), and food safety regulations.
What You Bring:
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen (bonus points if you’ve done brunch and evening menus before).
- A knack for leadership and team management.
- Cool under pressure, quick on your feet, and attentive to detail.
- Pride in your and your team's work and cleanliness standards.
- A genuine, down-to-earth personality — we can teach skills, but not attitude.
If you care about great food, real people, and being part of a team that actually has each other’s backs, we’d love to hear from you.
