The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role within group financial management reporting, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis and profitability reports. They will contribute to the creation and management of budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial statements accurately reflect the company's financial status and financial risks. Although based in our Head Office, you will support across all our Global locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain financial controls, reconcile accounts, including intercompany group balances and ensure internal financial policies and procedures are upheld.
- Continuously improve financial reporting processes and controls to increase efficiency, accuracy and onboard new operational locations.
- Contribute to other aspects of financial operations, such as bookkeeping and payroll
- Participate in the internal financial reporting process, providing timely and relevant financial information to stakeholders, including variance analysis and finance business partnership support.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the annual budget and forecast flexing.
- Perform variance analysis between actuals and forecasts, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) highly desirable.
- This position is open to both experienced and newly qualified accountants.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical accuracy, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
