The Fine Cheese Co. is a trusted name in artisan cheese and fine food, supplying quality products to customers across the UK and around the world for over 35 years.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Account Coordinator to join our Wholesale team. You will play an important role in looking after our customers, supporting our Account Managers and helping to grow sales across our range of cheese, charcuterie, crackers, biscuits and fine food.
This is a customer-focused role that combines customer service, administration and sales, you will be working directly with customers every day, helping them with their orders, introducing them to new products and making sure everything runs smoothly from order through to delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing inbound customer orders and enquiries by phone, email and through our B2B ordering platform.
- Building strong relationships with our customers and providing excellent service.
- Supporting our Account Managers with their customers and sales activity.
- Maintaining accurate customer and order information within our CRM.
- Coordinating sample requests and dispatches.
- Working closely with our Warehouse, Cheese rooms and Sales teams to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly.
- Tracking orders and helping resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
- Supporting seasonal campaigns, new product launches and other sales initiatives.
What We are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly and confident when speaking with customers.
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident using computers, phones and happy learning new CRM and ordering systems.
- Ideally experienced in customer service, sales, food, retail or wholesale, although the right attitude is just as important.
- Positive, proactive and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
- Interested in food and excited to learn about our products and the customers we work with.
