We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing and beauty, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a range of hair styling services, including colour, cutting, and specialised treatments, as well as offering personalised advice to clients. Previous experience in store management, barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application is highly desirable. A strong focus on communication skills and upselling will contribute to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hair styling services such as cuts, colour, blow-drying, and specialised treatments
- Provide personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the front desk, managing appointments and client enquiries efficiently
- Assist with store management duties including stock organisation and maintaining cleanliness standards within the salon
- Mentor junior team members and support their development through guidance and training
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
- Upsell products and services effectively to maximise client experience and salon revenue
- Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitised and maintained according to health & safety regulations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist within a busy salon environment
- Skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application are advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Experience in store management or supervisory roles is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise clients confidently and clearly
- Ability to mentor junior staff members and foster a collaborative team atmosphere

Pay: £12.50-£20.00 per hour
