- £14+ per UDA plus £425/day Clinical Advisor rate
- Shape clinical standards across a growing 8+ practice group
- Opportunity to step into leadership
Are you an experienced Associate Dentist ready to take the next step into clinical leadership without leaving the chair behind?
This is a genuinely rare opportunity in Liverpool to combine hands-on NHS and private dentistry with a meaningful advisory role, supporting and shaping the clinical culture of a growing dental group. Working 3–5 days per week, you'll split your time between delivering high-quality patient care and driving standards across the wider organisation.
The Clinical Advisor Role - What You'll Actually Do
- Compliance and auditing - monitoring regulatory standards across the group, conducting radiography and patient record audits, and reviewing DAF reports
- Recruitment and retention - supporting the identification and onboarding of new clinicians, and helping to foster an environment where Associates want to stay
- Clinician development - working alongside the Clinical Director to design and deliver training programmes, including the group's internal CPD platform; mentoring and coaching Associates to develop both clinical and professional skills
- 1-2-1 oversight - ensuring regular, structured check-ins with Associates are conducted and that any remedial actions are followed up promptly
- Complaint management - overseeing patient complaint handling across the group, resolving issues professionally, and implementing processes to prevent recurrence
- Quality assurance - leading regular reviews of clinical processes and recommending improvements in collaboration with the wider management team
What's on Offer
- £14+ per UDA
- UDA volume negotiable
- £425 per day for Clinical Advisor days (1-2 days per week)
- 3-5 days per week
- Multi-site travel to group practices 2–3 times per month
- Advanced equipment including rotary endodontics, iTero Trios intraoral scanner, and digital X-ray
- Dentally software with iPads in every surgery
- Health and wellbeing programme, life insurance, and private medical insurance
Who We're Looking For
- GDC-registered Associate Dentist (mandatory)
- Active NHS Performer Number (mandatory)
- Solid NHS clinical experience with confidence across general dentistry
- A genuine interest in clinical leadership, mentoring, or teaching
- Previous supervision or mentoring experience (desirable)
- Organised, clinically rigorous, and comfortable working across multiple sites
