We're looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Barista to join our team at Café Plaza on weekends.
Café Plaza is a busy independent café serving speciality coffee, brunch, cakes and lunch in the heart of Great Notley. Weekends are our busiest time, so we're looking for someone who can stay calm under pressure, work with speed and deliver fantastic customer service every time. Typical barista duties include preparing coffee, taking orders, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness and supporting the wider café team.
What you'll be doing:
- Making high-quality coffees and hot drinks
- Providing excellent customer service
- Taking orders and processing payments
- Helping with food preparation and service
- Keeping the café clean, tidy and well stocked
- Working as part of a fast-paced team during busy brunch services
What we're looking for:
- Previous barista or café experience preferred
- Friendly, confident and well presented
- Able to work quickly and efficiently during busy periods
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working weekends
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service

Weekend position (Saturday and Sunday)
Approx. 8:30am – 4:00pm
