Experienced Concrete Operative – Precast Concrete

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 14:30
Overtime: Available after 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Concrete Operative to join a busy and established precast concrete operation based in Muggington, Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience in precast concrete manufacturing who is looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to progress within the business.
The Role
You will be involved in the production of a range of specialist precast concrete products, including:
- Lift shafts
- Culverts
- Concrete moulds
- Precast concrete stairs
- Setting up and preparing moulds for production
- Working with reinforcement and concrete
- Finishing and checking concrete products to a high standard
- Following drawings, specifications and production requirements
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with precast concrete and, specifically, experience with lift shafts, culverts, moulds and/or precast stairs.
We are looking for someone who:
Has solid hands-on concrete/precast experience
Has experience working with moulds and formwork
Can work accurately from drawings/specifications
Has a good understanding of concrete production and finishing
Takes pride in producing high-quality work
Works well as part of a team
Has a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Is looking for a long-term opportunity with progression
