Real People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established cold storage company in Fareham for an experienced Reach Truck Forklift Driver. This is an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term role with a supportive and friendly team.
The Role
As a Reach Truck Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring frozen food products are stored and picked accurately and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Reach Truck Forklift to pick and locate pallets up to 8 metres high.
- Picking and preparing customer orders by hand when required.
- Loading, unloading and moving stock safely within the warehouse.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Working within a frozen warehouse environment (-20°C), with full PPE and warming breaks provided.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Reach Truck Forklift licence or previous in-house Reach Truck experience.
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck Forklift.
- A strong focus on health and safety.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a cold storage or frozen warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
