We are a friendly and caring residential care home dedicated to providing high-quality care and a comfortable environment for our residents. We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our team and prepare nutritious, meals for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Run day to day kitchen, ensuring cleaning schedule is maintain.
- Cater for special diets including diabetic, soft- modified consistancy and allergy-specific meals
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Manage food stock, ordering, and rotation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and care home standards
- Work closely with care staff to meet residents’ nutritional needs
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook (care home or similar environment preferred)
- Knowledge of special dietary requirements for elderly residents
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred)
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Friendly and caring attitude
