Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team in our purpose built nursery in Perranarworthal. We are a small close knit team, but due to extended government funding and nursery expansion, have further positions to fulfil.
We believe in offering children a nurturing environment and enabling them to explore nature and be outside as much as possible.
We are seeking passionate and caring practitioners to join our team. Our rooms are an open airy space for our members to learn and develop, with motivated and inspirational adults supporting their development and setting up enroching experiences for our littlest ones to play with in a safe environment.
We have access to woodlands for outdoor learning opportunities.
As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. If you have a love for working with children and are committed to their early development, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs for children
- Create a safe and supportive environment that promotes learning and exploration
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe and assess children's development and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum plans and learning goals
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is preferred but not essential

Please note that all positions at the nursery are working hours between Monday to Friday, 730am - 6pm, with monthly evening meetings (once a month).

Hourly rate depending on experience and qualifications
Due to location of nursery, applicants must have own transport. There is no public transport.
