Our City Region Service takes a strength-based, person-centred approach in order to support people into long term, sustainable accommodation and treatment services, break cycles of recurrent homeless, reduce instances of accommodation breakdown and improve people’s health, well-being and independence.
With primary responsibility for two local authority areas in Merseyside, the post holder will build and lead a high performing team, delivering good quality, effective and efficient services to people who are homeless, rough sleeping, or at risk of homelessness. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Ensuring all performance/outcome targets and contractual conditions are met
- Producing high quality management information in order to drive system change
- Leading, motivating and supporting a staff team spread across different geographical locations
- Using strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders across local and combined authorities, ensuring consistency in provision whilst taking into account geographical and political differences
- Planning for and ensuring all expenditure is within budget for each service.
We are looking for an exceptional practitioner who is able to demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills in meeting all contractual requirements, performance standards and targets.
Although predominantly a Monday to Friday service, some flexibility is required to cover early mornings, late evenings and weekends by arrangement.
