Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, be well-organised. Previous bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety standards
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock bar supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure
- A personable attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as required
