Burghley Care is a premium adult residential care provider with an exciting future ahead. With three brand‑new care homes opening in 2026, we’re looking for dedicated Housekeeping / Laundry Assistants to help maintain the high standards that make our homes feel truly special.

About the Role
As a Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant, you’ll play a vital behind‑the‑scenes role in residents’ comfort, wellbeing and dignity. From spotless communal areas to fresh, well‑cared‑for laundry, your work helps create a safe, homely and welcoming environment where residents can relax and feel at home.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and understands how important cleanliness and presentation are in a premium care setting.
This role will work on a rota basis, including weekend working.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
- Cleaning bedrooms, communal spaces and facilities with care and attention to detail
- Managing residents’ personal laundry with dignity, respect and accuracy
- Following infection control, hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting a calm, organised and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure the home always looks and feels its best
Who We’re Looking For
- A reliable, hardworking individual with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Someone who takes pride in maintaining excellent standards
- Friendly, respectful and mindful of residents’ privacy and dignity
- Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Experience in housekeeping, laundry or cleaning roles is desirable but not essential
- Care sector experience is helpful, but full training can be provided
