As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean environment to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
