Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our enthusiastic team at Clairleigh Nursing Home in Bromley. In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to our mission by providing compassionate care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care needs.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff.
- Participate in recreational activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Assist with medication management as directed by nursing staff.
- Uphold the values and standards of Clairleigh Nursing Home in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Knowledge of care plans and home care practices is essential.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic IT skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to drive is beneficial but not required.
