General Manager - CCT Venues City.

CCT Venues is privately owned independent venue group, comprising of two venues in the City of London. CCT Venues Smithfield, operates as a boutique style venue with a variety of clients with CCT Venues Moorgate opening in September 2026.
We are currently recruiting an experienced General Manager to run and over see both our conference and training venues. Reporting into the Managing Director, the role is fundamental to the day-to-day running of the business, operating at both a strategic and operational level.
This is an important role in the management of CCT Venues and of key commercial significance. The post holder contributes to the business through ensuring that both venues are delivering for our valued clients and ensuring that the operations deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires a high level of financial acumen, taking responsibility for the budgets and costs controls for both venues along with client relationship building and staff management.
The post holder will ensure that both venues are run efficiently and to budget, promoting a strong and positive company reputation.
The post will also form part of the project team with the launch of CCT Venues Moorgate.
Experience & Skill requirements:
This post requires:
- An efficient and confident team player with comprehensive and proven experience in senior management in the hospitality sector. Either via similar business or hotel background.
- The post holder will also have experience of financial management, diary management and complex operational management.
- The post holder must be comfortable working in a small team, have strong self-motivation and enjoy working to targets.
- Strong staff management skills, managing and maintaining an experienced and committed team.
- Strong written and spoken English Language skills are essential alongside a good general education and intermediate I.T skills.
Remuneration and benefits:
- Salary (available on application on full Job description).
- Annual performance related bonus scheme, paying up to 10% of salary on achievement of personal targets.

- Upon successful completion of 6 month probationary period: participation in three times salary Term Assurance scheme.

- 22 days’ annual leave rising annually by 1 day to a maximum of 25 days, plus the statutory 8 bank holidays.
- 3 days for Christmas closure usually awarded annually company wide
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 45 hours per week including 1 hour of unpaid breaks, i.e. the working day covers a 9 hour period. Hours to be worked within CCT Venues opening hours usually (8am & 7pm) i.e. 9 hours between these opening hours. Flexibility and occasional additional hours may be required to cover operational and client needs. Very occasional weekends may be required for which time off in lieu or overtime can be claimed.
Pay: £40,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
