Job Purpose
To ensure weekly paid employees and all agency operatives are trained to meet their job requirements whilst maintaining some flexibility of hours and department tasks upon request from the Production Stream Manager. Support with refresher training on all skills for all operatives to ensure the company’s standards are maintained and we can demonstrate we are audit ready.
Job description

Promote and adhere to safe working practices to ensure health and safety, hygiene practices and behaviours are implemented and sustained.

To facilitate learning through demonstration and instruction ensuring records are accurately kept for all hourly paid and agency staff

Implementation, upholding and adherence to the company values and behaviours ensuring a positive place of work

Full utilisation of training delivery time organising and implementing a daily and weekly training delivery plan within Operations.

Ensure all tasks are recorded and completed in full, ensuring all training records are kept up to date to provide fair, unbiased and confidential information.

Complete all relevant administration daily including updating the LMS system and training tracker where required to ensure all training records up to date at all times.

Liaise with Production management/Training Validator/ Site Training Lead regarding new procedures, systems and machinery in order to maintain effective communications and knowledge of Operational Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedure / Training Procedures.

Liaise with all areas of Operations regarding the daily and weekly planning and schedule of training.

Assist with Team Leaders with new starters, be the go-to face to welcome people to the team

Achieve the instructional qualification and attend company training courses as required.

To carry out training to the standards set by the Training Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions in accordance with the core mandatory training requirements (Technical/Health & Safety Matrices)

To inform the Site Training Co-Ordinator of any amendments to the Training Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and also make the Training Validator aware of any new processes.

To aid in the writing and amending of Training Procedures in the departments

Weekly Department / Shift training Scores maintaining to >97%
Skills and Knowledge
-
Successfully complete an internal basic skills test in Numeracy, Judgement and Perception

Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills

Good Communication Skills

Fluency of English language (Oral and Written)

Planning, Good organization and Computer literate
-
Relevant experience working in a factory environment

A good understanding of the factory process / packing
