- DT Teaching (GCSE & A Level)
- Full-time
- Well respected secondary school
- Planning and marking
I'm working on behalf of a well respected secondary school that are looking for a DT teacher to join in September. It's a full role where you will be expected to guide students through their GCSE & A Level, the students are lovely and very keen to learn!
- Food Technology: Leading practical sessions on nutrition, food preparation, and hospitality.
- Product Design: Guiding students through the design process using wood, metals, and polymers.
- Resistant Materials & Engineering: Managing workshop safety while teaching CAD/CAM and practical tool skills.
- Textiles: Inspiring creativity through fabric manipulation and fashion design.
The school are very accommodating so if you're only wanting to work 3 days for example, they should be able to move the timetable around for you. Also same goes for the flexibility in terms of experience of candidates. Ideally they are looking for an experienced DT teacher who also feels confident or a willingness to learn the different disciplines, they also understand that this may not be possible for the time being - they are willing to accept a range of different applications!
