Job Profile
We are looking for a passionate part time Chef to join our small team for the upcoming season. As a part of a small team working in our cafe (The Trough), you will play a key role in our kitchen.
About Us
Based out of Trevilley Farm Shop, we pride ourselves on the service we offer to our customers and the quality of the food we serve. We source locally as much as possible and use beef from our own farm. We serve breakfast and lunch, seven days a week.
What you will be doing
You will be working with one other chef and, at times, a KP.
You will be trained in all aspects of the whole menu; preparing ingredients, cooking and food presentation.
Ensure consistency of cooking and presentation.
Assist the chef and collaborate with the front of house team.
Adhere to and ensure high levels of H&S standards.
Washing and cleaning as required.
What we are looking for
Commercial kitchen experience.
Ideally experience cooking breakfast and lunch type dishes.
A positive and proactive attitude is essential.
Have the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Flexibility in terms of availability.

Part time seasonal: starting mid to late May until 30th August.
Working days and hours to be negotiated.
Pay: £13.50 per hour.
We are looking for two chefs to cover seven days a week.
We are therefore offering two part time jobs or one full time and one part time.
If you do not already live within a commutable distance to us your application will not be considered.
