Location: Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary Academy
Hours: 30 Hours per Week
Weeks Paid: Term Time + 2 Days
Days and Times: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 15:30 (1 Hour Unpaid Lunch per Day)
Contract type: Fixed Term until 31.08.2027
Start Date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Class Teacher and SENCO

Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an Early Years SEN Learning Support Assistant.

We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in SEND, Early Years and Supporting Teaching & Learning with a high level of BSL skills.
We are looking for someone who:

Can work with class teachers to raise the progress and attainment of pupils
- Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
- Is able to work within classes, one to one and with small groups of children
- Has previous experience of working in education, early years is preferred but not essential
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Teaching Assistant and a commitment to study level 3 if not already attained
