Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PTS Trackman/woman with civils experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with track maintenance, ensuring safety standards are upheld, and supporting railway infrastructure projects. Your active participation will help us maintain the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and quality in our operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct track inspections and assist with maintenance activities to ensure safe railway operations
- Support management in implementing track safety procedures and protocols
- Operate relevant equipment safely and efficiently during track work activities
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate tasks
- Assist with the management of tools, materials, and equipment required for track maintenance
- Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents promptly
- Support driving duties when required to transport personnel or equipment along railway lines
Qualifications
- Experience in railway management or maintenance is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- PTS
- COSS not required but would be an advantage.
- Valid driving license with experience operating vehicles in a work environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and supervisors
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Management skills to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site
- Willingness to learn new skills related to railway infrastructure maintenance

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
