Residential Team Leader / Senior (3 Bed - Therapeutic Children's Home)
Location: Tettenhall, Wolverhampton
Total Earnings: £37,400 per annum (includes base salary + sleep-ins)
Homes Ofsted Rating: GOOD
- Base Salary: £29,400
- Sleep-Ins: ~£8,000 + per year (£70 per stay, averaging 8–10 sleeps per month)
- Overtime Rate: £19+ per hour (Increased overtime rate!)
- Shift Pattern:
- 2 days on, 4 days off (15-hour shifts: 8am – 11pm + sleep-in)

What You Will Do
- Lead the Shift: Take charge of the home on your rostered days, making confident decisions and guiding your team.
- Create a Family Environment: Help with daily routines, meal preparation, and keeping a clean, warm, functional home.
- Therapeutic Delivery: Contribute directly to children's therapeutic care plans and risk assessments alongside our clinical team.
- Mentor Support: Inspire, support, and develop team members on shift.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experienced: Minimum 12 months of direct experience working in a children's residential care setting.
- Qualified: Must hold a relevant Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Children's Residential Care or working towards.
- Drivers: Must hold a full manual or automatic driving licence.
- Character: Commitment, integrity, patience, resilience, and a great sense of humour are vital!
- Knowledge: You must understand safeguarding and have a genuine passion for improving outcomes for children.
