Healthcare Partner – Pharmacy Dispenser/Counter Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Oakwood Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Healthcare Partner to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis, with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the contract.
The Role Participate in all branch processes and build strong relationships with customers, patients, and healthcare professionals. Represent the pharmacy in the community, provide healthy lifestyle advice, deliver health services, and carry out all aspects of dispensing and medicine supply. Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to develop skills across additional services.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
- Previous community pharmacy experience is essential
- Professional manner with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident with cash handling, general retail, and dispensary activities
- Genuine commitment to patient care and problem-solving
- Strong computer skills, time management, and organisational ability
- Team player with a real interest in healthcare and self-development
Contract Details This is a fixed-term position covering maternity leave. Subject to business needs, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent at the end of the fixed-term period.
