We are urgently seeking Nursery Practitioners (qualified and unqualified) to join the Humly community, supporting a variety of early years settings across the South Hampshire region. Due to increasing demand, we’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with at least 3 months’ referenceable experience in early years education who want flexibility and control over when and where they work. Whether you’re seeking ad hoc shifts, short-term placements, or more regular work, we have opportunities to suit your lifestyle.
The Role
- Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
- Be actively involved in play-based learning, activities, and outings
- Greet every child with a warm, welcoming approach
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
- Work collaboratively with nursery teams
- Follow and support daily nursery routines
- Assist with snack and meal times, tidying, and light domestic tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months’ referenceable experience in an early years education setting
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Confident communicating with children, families, and colleagues
- Willingness to follow EYFS and safeguarding guidance
- Ability to provide two proofs of address
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one – we can help)
