Cornwall | £17.00–£22.00 per hour
We are recruiting experienced chefs for flexible temporary assignments across Cornwall, supporting a variety of pubs, restaurants, hotels and hospitality venues.
This is an excellent opportunity for chefs who want greater control over when and where they work. Various shift patterns are available, including weekdays, evenings and weekends, with a mixture of individual shifts, short-term cover and ongoing bookings.
Pay Rates
- £17.00–£22.00 per hour
- Rates vary depending on your level of experience, the assignment and whether you are working weekdays or weekends.
- Higher rates may be available for senior-level and weekend bookings.

Assignments are available across pubs, restaurants, hotels and other hospitality kitchens throughout Cornwall.
The Role
Depending on the venue and assignment, your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh food to a high standard.
- Supporting the permanent kitchen team during busy services.
- Managing your section confidently and efficiently.
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.
- Assisting with preparation, service and kitchen organisation.
- Stepping into senior responsibilities where required.

What We Are Looking For
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen.
- The ability to adapt quickly to different kitchen environments.
- Good food hygiene and safety knowledge.
- A reliable, professional and positive approach.
- The confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
Due to the locations of some assignments, having your own transport may be beneficial.
