We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team at Balloo House. As an essential member of the team, you'll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene while supporting our chefs throughout service.
Whether you're looking to start a career in hospitality or already have kitchen experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Washing dishes, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Keeping kitchen workstations, storage areas and floors clean, safe and organised.
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
- Receiving and storing deliveries in line with food safety procedures.
- Emptying waste and recycling safely and ensuring all waste areas remain clean.
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.

- Is reliable, dependable and takes pride in their work.
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Has excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Is willing to learn and support colleagues wherever needed.
- Previous kitchen porter or hospitality experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
