Wigwam Nurseries Ltd are looking for Nursery Apprentices to work in our Huntingdon Nurseries.
Wigwam Nurseries Ltd are a small group of 5 day nurseries. Each nursery has been carefully adapted and refurbished to an extremely high standard and is well equipped with natural, high quality, stimulating resources.
Vantage Park Day Nursery is a purpose built Day Nursery. They have the capacity for 65 children split between three rooms; 0-2 years, 2-3 years and 3-5 years. The nursery employs full and part-time staff and is open from 8.00am – 6.00pm 52 weeks a year. They are closed for Public Holidays.
The Brampton Day Nursery is located on the picturesque Brampton High Street, 2 miles from Huntingdon Town. The nursery is open from 8.00am – 6.00pm 52 weeks a year and are closed for Public Holidays.
The Papworth Day Nursery is newly renovated and located in Papworth Everard. The nursery is open from 8.00am – 6.00pm 52 weeks a year and are closed for Public Holidays.

What will I be doing as a Nursery Apprentice?
Learning to be an outstanding Early Years Educator, whilst working within the Nursery, attending a level 3 childcare course through a registered provider, with the nurturing support of an outstanding team of professionals. Once qualified you will be:
●Building positive and trusting relationships with children and outstanding parent partnerships.
● Providing a safe, hygienic, caring and stimulating environment for the children.
● Ensuring that the physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care provided to children is of the highest standard.
● Planning, carrying out and recording fun, inspirational and educational play and learning opportunities.
Am I qualified for this job?
●English & Maths GCSE's at grade C or functional skills level 2 in English & Maths is required.
What are the working hours?
●The full time nursery staff work four and a half days, Monday to Friday between 8am-6pm.
