Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Hearing Aid Dispenser, where you will play a vital role in improving clients' quality of life through expert hearing solutions. In this engaging position, you will assess hearing needs, fit and dispense hearing aids, undertake ear wax removal and provide comprehensive support to ensure optimal auditory health. Your expertise will help individuals regain confidence and reconnect with the world around them through personalized hearing care. This is a temporary position with potential to extend contract. Hours/days worked are negotiable for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough hearing assessments
- Educate clients on different types of hearing aids and assist in selecting the most suitable devices based on their lifestyle and medical history
- Fit, program, and fine-tune hearing aids to ensure comfort and optimal performance
- Explain device operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques clearly to clients
- Collaborate with audiologists and healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, fittings, and client interactions in compliance with privacy regulations
- Stay current with advancements in hearing aid technology and industry best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions
Qualifications
- HCPC registration is essential
- Fully insured
- Fully competent in wax removal is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and support clients throughout their hearing journey
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a healthcare team
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
