Adam Blanshay Productions is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual with an interest in commercial theatre production and desire to gain experience of the industry to join our team.
The Production Assistant will assist the ABP Team with day-to-day office administration, financial assistance and support current and upcoming productions by undertaking a range of tasks and responsibilities.
The length of the internship will be 4-6 months. Working hours will be discussed in the interview to accommodate any other commitments the candidate may have, but we are ideally looking for someone to work 3 days per week.
The candidate should be available to start the week commencing Monday 29 June (flexible) and will need to provide their own personal computer/laptop. Pay will be a monthly stipend – to be discussed in the interview.

- General office administration.
- Reconcile expenses using Xero software (office and production receipts).
- Complete House Seat orders.
- Respond to general enquiry emails and letters.
- Schedule meetings and maintain appointment calendar
- File and manage digital file systems.
- Update social media accounts and production websites.
- Create monthly newsletter updates
- Support the planning and execution of company events
- Update financial trackers for productions
Essential
- Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise
- Computer Literate (Google Suite, Zoom, Excel, Word, Outlook/Mail, Canva, Wix)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail (written and verbal)
- Proactive and motivated work ethic - able to carry out a broad range of tasks
- Clear passion for theatre and production management
Desirable
- Experience working in the theatre and arts industry
- French language. Translation Skills (Written and Verbal) – Not necessary
