About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Casual Leisure Assistants.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will help support the day-to-day operation of our leisure facilities, ensuring customers enjoy a safe, welcoming and positive experience. From assisting with activities and events to supporting facility operations, maintaining cleanliness standards and providing excellent customer service, you will play an important part in helping local people stay active and healthy.
The role offers flexible casual hours and opportunities to gain experience across a wide range of leisure services and activities. Evening and weekend working will be required.
What will you be doing?
- Delivering excellent customer service and assisting customers with enquiries.

Supporting the safe and effective operation of leisure facilities and activities.

Assisting with the setup, monitoring and take down of sports and event equipment.

Carrying out routine cleaning duties and maintaining high facility standards.

Conducting checks of activity areas and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

Promoting activities, memberships and services to customers.

Taking bookings, handling payments and supporting reception duties where required.

Assisting with activity sessions, events and community programmes.

Working as part of a team to create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all customers
About you
You will be a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable person who enjoys working with people and delivering excellent customer service.

A good standard of education, including Maths and English.

A willingness to undertake training and development relevant to the role.
Previous experience in a leisure, customer service, sports, fitness or hospitality environment would be advantageous, as would qualifications such as First Aid, Fitness Instruction, Sports Coaching or Lifeguarding, although these are not essential.
