We are looking to recruit Paralegals to join our Aviation s team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to work on high-volume flight delay claims, with responsibility for managing their own caseload while being supported by experienced fee earners and supervisors.
The role will focus primarily on aviation passenger claims, including claims arising from flight delays, cancellations and related consumer aviation disputes. You will be expected to take ownership of your files, progress matters efficiently, comply with court and client deadlines, and work in accordance with agreed workflows, systems and processes.
This role would suit someone who enjoys managing a busy caseload, is confident working to deadlines and targets, and is keen to develop their litigation and claims handling experience within a specialist aviation team.
Your primary role will be to manage and progress your own caseload of aviation flight delay claims, while also providing support to senior case handlers and fee earners within the team.

You will have previous paralegal, claims handling or litigation experience, ideally gained in a high-volume claims environment. Aviation experience is desirable but not essential; more important is your ability to manage a caseload, work accurately and meet deadlines.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience of litigation, claims handling or case management.
- A genuine interest in aviation, travel, consumer claims or insurance litigation.
- The confidence and capability to manage their own caseload, with appropriate supervision.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- A proactive approach to progressing files and identifying next steps.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to work to financial, chargeable and operational targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, client-focused and solutions-driven approach.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in dealing with clients, courts, claimant representatives and other third parties.
- Good IT skills and the ability to use case management systems and other software confidently.
- A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality, data protection and compliance.
- Flexibility, resilience and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A positive attitude and professional pride in the quality of your work.
- Training will be provided where appropriate, including on aviation claims processes, internal workflows, Atom and relevant client requirements.
