Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing our customers cars troubleshooting a variety of faults using diagnostic tools. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics. The Mechanic will play a vital part in supporting the smooth running of our operations through effective maintenance and repair activities.
Duties
- Diagnose faults using schematics and mechanical knowledge
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding, and assembly techniques
- use of tyre fitting equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and procedures
- Support the team with heavy lifting tasks and assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client needs promptly and professionallyQualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or repair and maintenance of cars.
- Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical systems, and assembly processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools
- Knowledge of safety standards related to mechanical work environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are desirable but not essential
