Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to maintain hygiene standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards discovered during cleaning activities to management promptly
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning products whenever possible to promote sustainability
- Maintain cleanliness logs and complete detailed shift reports to track completed tasks and observations
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues accurately
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions consistently
