Moods is an independent all-day café, restaurant and bar based within the historic First White Cloth Hall in Leeds city centre.
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Barback to support our bar team during busy evening and weekend services.
The role
You will help keep the bar stocked, organised and running efficiently throughout service. Responsibilities will include:
- Restocking fridges, spirits, glassware and bar supplies
- Collecting, washing and polishing glassware
- Changing kegs and moving stock
- Preparing garnishes and other basic bar preparation
- Keeping the bar, cellar and storage areas clean and organised
- Clearing empty glasses and supporting the wider front-of-house team
- Assisting bartenders during busy periods
- Following food safety, licensing and health and safety procedures
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and comfortable working at pace
- Is physically able to lift and move drinks stock and kegs
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean and organised
- Is available to work evenings and weekends
- Has bar, hospitality or stock-handling experience, although training can be provided
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone looking to develop their experience within a busy, high-quality bar environment.
Hours: 25-30 hours per week
Pay: £12.71 per hour
