About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Business Development Executive to join our growing team at Lockwell Telford.
This is a varied role that combines internal sales, customer service and business development. You'll be responsible for building strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities to help grow our customer base.
Whether you're speaking to customers over the phone, processing orders, visiting local businesses or identifying new sales opportunities, you'll play an important role in delivering the excellent service Lockwell is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email and in person
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales and grow existing accounts
- Prospecting and developing new business within the local area
- Visiting customers where appropriate to strengthen relationships and generate opportunities
- Providing product advice and technical support where possible
- Working closely with the branch team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Following up quotations and converting opportunities into sales
- Achieving individual and branch sales targets
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge and keeping up to date with industry developments
About You

- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft Office

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous sales experience (internal or external)
- Experience within the MRO sector
- Good knowledge of electrical products (preferred but not essential)
- Business development experience
- Full UK Driving Licence

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
