About Us:
Jefferis Engineering Ltd is a well-established mechanical services company specialising in pipework fabrication and installation. We operate from two workshop locations in Farrington Gurney (BS39 6TJ) and Clutton (BS39 5QQ) and are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment across both sites.
Paying £13 to 14.00ph (Self employed only).
All cleaning equipment and materials will be provided.
The Role:
We are seeking a conscientious Cleaner who takes pride in their work.
You will be responsible for cleaning both of our workshop facilities, ensuring offices, welfare areas, and workshop spaces are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean offices, workshop areas, kitchens, toilets, and communal spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish cleaning products and washroom supplies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across both sites.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures while carrying out cleaning duties.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- A reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated individual.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred due to travel between our two locations.
