Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Punjabi-speaking live-in care assistant (female) to provide compassionate support and assistance to a client within their home. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Punjabi and possess a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for those in need of personalised care. Duties
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with established care plans, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the client with household tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
- Assist with medication management as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate communication between the client and healthcare providers or family members as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client’s condition.
- Support the client with errands or appointments outside the home if required.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Fluency in Punjabi is essential; good command of English is also required for effective communication.
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to assist with errands or appointments outside the home.
- Respectful, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for caring for others.
- Ability to work independently within a live-in setting, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: £2,118.33-£2,397.49 per month
