We are recruiting Full Time Self-employed driver positions with Wessex PD Ltd for our DPD contract based at BS16, Bristol. Now seeking reliable candidates who can work a minimum of 4 days per week, preferably 5 days, including some weekend days per month, hard working and passionate people who can succeed in a fast paced environment, delivering packages and great customer experiences and smiles!
What we are offering:

● Shifts start either 06:00 am or 07:00am, back to depot approx 4pm -5pm
● Regular rota days available for the right candidate, consistent work each week.

● Mobile app in order to stay connected and provide advanced technology to navigate your routes efficiently and get delivery instructions from customers, no multi drops!

Responsibilities:
Successful drivers always always put safety first and care deeply about the customer!
● Must have a minimum 2 years driving experience, with a valid manual driving license that has no more than 6 points.
● Independent problem solver with good communication skills
● The ability and will to be able to use the stairs to deliver packages
● Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 25kg, most are around 6 kg or less)
● Commercial (or work-related) driving experience with multi drop couriers such as DPD, Amazon, evri, ocado group is a plus but not required
● Must be available to work some weekend days per month if required.
● Must be eligible to work in the UK
Responsibilities include:
● Load vans and deliver packages, by driving, stepping in and out of the vehicle safely.
● Adhere to all safety regulations on the road
● Operate an electronic device with GPS (like a mobile phone)
● Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude
Hours: Rota's agreed to suit your availability.
