Cornwall Group Limited are looking for a full time Credit Controller to join our family-owned group of companies. The position is office based and will work closely with our other Credit Controllers, Finance Manager as well as the whole of the finance function.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00 to 17:00
Location: Old Mansion House, 9 Quay Street, Truro, TR1 2HE
Responsibilities will include:
- Using Sage 200 to maintain accurate and up to date records of debtor accounts.
- Liaising with customers to ensure invoices are paid within their due dates.
- Maintaining strong relationships with our colleagues at our various branches.
- Issuing debt letters and taking further actions where necessary in line with company policy.
- Preparing monthly Aged Debt reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
The Candidate:
- Part or full finance/accountancy qualification, or qualified by experience
- Good working knowledge of Sage (preferably Sage 200) along with confidence using Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Awareness and ability to meet deadlines with strong self-discipline
- Organised and flexible.
