Mash Paddle Brewery are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Beer Expert to join our family.This role is ideal for individuals who have a gigantic passion for beer and its diverse styles, flavours, brewing techniques.The Beer Expert will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing insightful recommendations and fostering a welcoming atmosphere all whilst having fun and enjoying great friends and company!
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored beer recommendations.
- Enjoy working as part of a close knit team and behind a busy Taproom bar.
- Maintain an organised and clean cellar.
- Collaborate with the the GM on how to improve beer selection whilst keeping all items and fridges well stocked.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new releases, and local breweries to enhance knowledge and customer engagement.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in craft beer and brewing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of bartending practices, including beer pouring techniques and cocktail mixing.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Passion for beer culture, with a willingness to share knowledge and educate others about various styles and brewing methods.
