About the Role:
We are currently seeking three experienced Traffic Marshalls (A73) to join our team in Leiston. This is a contract position offering a competitive pay rate and the chance to work on a significant and high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and control traffic on the construction site to ensure the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
- Implement traffic management plans as instructed, ensuring all site traffic operates in compliance with site rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and site personnel to minimize risks and disruptions.
- Monitor and manage entry and exit points, ensuring all vehicles are checked and authorized for site access.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of site traffic and incidents.
- Ensure that all signage and safety measures are properly installed and maintained.
- Work closely with the site management team to provide feedback on traffic flow and safety concerns.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Traffic Marshall, with a valid A73 certification.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction site traffic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience working on large construction sites is an advantage.
