Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of vehicles, ensuring a flawless and durable result. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match colours accurately to achieve the desired finish, using colour charts and mixing equipment.
- Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other hand tools, ensuring even coverage.
- Utilise power tools for surface preparation and finishing processes.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the painting process to identify imperfections or inconsistencies.
- Perform necessary repairs or touch-ups to ensure the highest standards of finish are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician or in a similar automotive refinishing role.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures and painting equipment.
- Proficiency in handling hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and masking devices.
- Experience with power tools used in surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when manoeuvring vehicle parts or materials.
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on achieving high-quality finishes.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines.

Pay: £33,280.00-£41,608.06 per year
