Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Must be able to drive and own a car to get to various locations
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial settings, including offices, retail spaces, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated shifts
