Service Administrator (Plumbing & Heating)
We are a well-established Plumbing & Heating company looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join our busy office team.
This is a key role within the business, ensuring our service department runs efficiently by coordinating engineers, organising parts and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling service, repair and maintenance appointments for our engineers.
- Liaising with customers to arrange appointments and provide updates.
- Ordering, tracking and checking parts required for engineers.
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials are available when required.
- Managing engineers' daily diaries and responding to changes in workload.
- Raising and processing job paperwork.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
- General office administration and providing support to the wider team.
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous administration experience within the Plumbing & Heating, Gas, Building Services or Facilities Management industry.
- Experience coordinating engineers or managing service diaries.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with customers, engineers and suppliers.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using scheduling or job management software.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
About the Role
This is a full-time office-based position at our offices in Walmer.
