Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. The Chef de Partie will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and efficiency in food production
- Assist in the development and presentation of new menu items
- Maintain very high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
- Train junior staff and provide guidance on food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service requirements
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen management tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
- Experience with meal preparation and presentation standards
- Understanding of food safety regulations (including allergen regulations) and hygiene standards
- Previous experience working in a busy restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are preferred but not essential depending on experience

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
