Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Groundworker to join our dynamic team, dedicated to maintaining and developing high-quality outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting landscaping, construction, and paving by performing essential groundwork tasks. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as paving, turfing, to enhance outdoor environments
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment like excavators for excavation, digging, and site preparation
- Hard landscaping, kerbing, paving and edgings.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Follow safety protocols during all operations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and machinery
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects requiring groundwork preparation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in groundworks, landscaping, environments with a focus on installing paving to a high standard.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators, power tools.
- Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and experience working with construction equipment.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: £24.00-£28.00 per hour
