Currently looking for full time, Class II Bin Lorry Drivers.
Standard work days will be Mon to Fri.
As a Bin Lorry Driver you will be responsible for dealing with commercial bins. You will also be required to follow all safe systems of work, checking the condition of the vehicle and fill in any associated paperwork as such. Driving will take up most of your working time. You may be required to drive skip lorry as and when trained to do so.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient bin waste collection
- Attend trainings and follow all instruction, information given
- Carry out and record daily checks
- Provide good customer service to our customers
- General housekeeping of the working area and lorry
- Cooperating with management and co-workers
- Following all site health and safety rules
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid Driving Licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Good communicative English
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Able to work as a part of team
- Punctual, Flexible and Reliable
- Friendly and Courteous to Customers
- Early starts and every second Saturday or Sunday work
- Experience in Waste & Recycling is desirable but not essential
- To learn the route and build relationships with customers
